It’s Summer term one and here’s what the Pizza Club

are learning about this half term!

 

Science

In Science we are looking at the different properties of materials and also testing them to see if they are suitable for the job they are intended for.

Topic

For out topic, we are finding out all about Greece.  We are looking at Greece today; focussing on Greece being as a holiday destination and we are also producing a brochure all about Greece and planning a trip to Greece.

We are also going back in time to learn about the Ancient Greeks focussing on how Athens and Sparta were separate cities and how they fought each other in a war. if we have time we are hoping to have a Greek Day where we will be tasting different Greek foods.

Design & Technology

In DT we are evaluating photo frames; deconstructing them; looking at the hinge mechanisms and the designing a new photo frame.
