Peter and the Wolf

All the children at Cadishead Primary were treated to a rendition of Prokofiev’s classic Peter and the Wolf. A small orchestra of students from Chetham’s came to our hall and performed the much loved narrative piece of music in which our Year 5sperformed as the main characters.

This launched a long term project between our Year 5 students, staff and children from Chetham’s and the local music service to create a fable with a soundscape. The children will be working hard in Literacy to create a performance which will be showcased in January at Irlam and Cadishead College.
