About us

We are a larger than average school with 12 classes from Nursery to Year 6. We have a lovely building and grounds which we use to help us learn. We hope to help our children develop a love of learning and inspire them to achieve their potential. We believe that everyone has talents that they can develop and that developing our talents and sharing them with others gives us the confidence to do well. We try and develop key learning skills so that our children can learn for themselves and help each other. We also try to foster those attitudes and qualities that help our children become useful and productive members of our community.

Cadishead Primary is proud to be part of our local community but tries to make links with other schools nationally and internationally so that our children develop an understanding of their place in the world and the responsibilities we all have. At Cadishead Primary we are always try to involve parents and carers in the life of the school and welcome suggestions as to how we can improve. We have been awarded several National awards in recognition of the hard work of our staff; the school has been awarded the Basic Skills Quality Mark for a second time.  In recognition of the standard of teaching and learning across the curriculum through ICT the school was awarded the IT mark in 2009. The school gained the Healthy School award in 2008. We have been re-awarded Active Mark in recognition of the quantity and quality of our sports provision. We hope you find all the information you want on our website and enjoy seeing what we do.
